小口こぐち

小口とは冊子の部位の名称で、本を開く側のことを指します。一般的に切り口を“小口”と呼ぶのですが、印刷製本とき、断裁面にあたるため小口といわれています。

なみに小口から誌面の本文までの間のことを「小口のアキ」というわよ！
